Our Shipping Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for the pickup and delivery of vehicles purchased via our website, karlodeal.com. Please read this policy carefully to understand your responsibilities as a buyer or seller and ensure smooth transactions.

1. No Home Delivery Available

We would like to clarify that Karlo Deal Private Limited does not offer home delivery for vehicles sold through our platform. As part of the transaction, buyers must arrange to visit the vehicle’s location for pickup, and this is an essential part of the buying process.

1.1. Buyer’s Responsibility for Pickup

Upon completing a purchase, the buyer is required to visit the designated location where the vehicle is available. This location is specified on the website listing and communicated with the buyer at the time of the sale. No exceptions will be made for home delivery requests, regardless of the vehicle’s price or condition.

The buyer is responsible for:

  • Visiting the pickup location as soon as possible after the purchase.

  • Inspecting the vehicle at the location before completing the transaction.

  • Arranging transportation to the vehicle’s location (if needed) and ensuring it is picked up in the specified condition.

Important Notice: No home deliveries will be facilitated for any vehicle under any circumstances.

2. Exception for High-Value Cars (Over ₹10 Lakh)

While Karlo Deal does not offer home delivery for most vehicles, we do understand that some buyers may request a more personalized delivery service for high-value cars. Vehicles with a price over ₹10 lakh are eligible for special delivery arrangements, but only under certain conditions.

2.1. Special Delivery for High-Value Cars

For vehicles valued over ₹10 lakh, Karlo Deal may consider facilitating a special delivery service to the buyer’s location or another mutually agreed-upon place. This service is offered only in select circumstances and is subject to additional charges.

The availability of this special delivery service is:

  • Not guaranteed for all transactions.

  • Subject to the buyer’s location and availability of delivery personnel.

  • Available only upon request and after review by Karlo Deal.

2.2. Additional Charges for Special Delivery

For high-value cars, if delivery arrangements are made, there will be additional charges that cover transportation and logistics costs. These charges will be calculated based on:

  • The distance from the vehicle’s location to the buyer’s specified address.

  • The complexity of the delivery, including any special handling requirements due to the vehicle’s value.

  • Insurance for the vehicle during transport.

These delivery charges will be disclosed upfront, and the buyer must approve and pay them before the delivery is scheduled.

3. Seller’s Responsibility for Vehicle Availability

Sellers play an important role in ensuring that the vehicle is ready for pickup by the buyer. The seller must confirm that the vehicle is available at the location specified in the listing and adhere to the agreed-upon pickup times.

3.1. Vehicle Location and Availability
  • Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is available at the designated location when the buyer arrives for pickup.

  • If the seller fails to make the vehicle available at the scheduled time, it could delay the transaction or lead to a cancellation. Karlo Deal will not be responsible for any delays caused by the seller’s failure to make the vehicle available.

  • The vehicle should be in the same condition as described in the listing and should not have any modifications or damages that were not previously disclosed.

Important Reminder for Sellers: Ensure that the vehicle is available and in the condition agreed upon. Buyers may not agree to purchase if there are discrepancies in the vehicle’s condition or location.

4. Inspection Process at Pickup Location

Before finalizing the purchase, we strongly encourage buyers to inspect the vehicle at the designated pickup location to ensure it meets their expectations. The inspection process helps ensure that both parties are satisfied with the condition of the car before completing the transaction.

4.1. What to Inspect

When arriving at the pickup location, buyers should take the following steps:

  • Check the Vehicle’s Condition: Inspect the car for any scratches, dents, or other signs of damage that were not disclosed at the time of purchase.
  • Verify Documentation: Ensure that all required documents, including the sale agreement, ownership transfer papers, and vehicle registration documents, are in order.
  • Test Drive (If Applicable): If possible, take the car for a short test drive to verify that the car is functioning correctly.
  • Third-Party Inspection: If the buyer wishes, they can hire a third-party inspection service at their own expense to conduct a more detailed evaluation of the vehicle.

Once the buyer is satisfied with the vehicle’s condition, they can proceed to finalize the payment and complete the purchase.

4.2. Finalizing the Purchase

After the inspection, if everything is in order, the buyer can complete the purchase by:

  • Paying the agreed price or completing the financing arrangements.

  • Signing the necessary documents, including the ownership transfer and sale agreement.

  • Taking possession of the vehicle after the necessary paperwork is processed.

5. Pickup Timing and Arrangements

It is critical for both buyers and sellers to adhere to the pickup schedule and make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transaction. Here’s how the pickup process works:

5.1. Scheduled Pickup Times
  • Pickup Schedule: Upon completion of the sale, the buyer and seller will agree on a pickup date and time for the vehicle. This schedule will be confirmed through email or phone communication.

  • Changes to Pickup Time: If either party needs to adjust the pickup time, they must notify the other party at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Timeliness: Buyers are encouraged to arrive at the agreed-upon time. If the buyer is delayed or unable to pick up the vehicle, they should contact the seller as soon as possible to reschedule.

Failure to adhere to the agreed pickup schedule could lead to delays or cancellation of the transaction.

5.2. Required Documentation and Paperwork

Before taking possession of the vehicle, buyers should ensure that:

  • The payment is completed or financing is approved.

  • Ownership transfer forms and other documents required by law are completed and signed by both parties.

  • The vehicle registration and other necessary paperwork are in order.

Both the seller and buyer must sign the sale agreement to complete the transaction legally.

6. Delivery Charges

As previously mentioned, home delivery is not available for vehicles sold through Karlo Deal. However, in the case of special arrangements for high-value cars, delivery charges will apply.

6.1. Delivery Costs for High-Value Cars

If a buyer opts for the special delivery service, the following conditions apply:

  • Delivery Fees: The buyer will be responsible for the delivery charges, which will depend on the distance between the seller’s location and the buyer’s address.

  • Insurance: The buyer may need to purchase additional insurance for the vehicle during transit, which will be disclosed prior to the shipment.

  • Approval of Delivery Charges: The delivery charges must be confirmed and agreed upon before the vehicle is shipped or delivered.

Buyers are advised to inquire about delivery fees for high-value vehicles before making the purchase.

7. Locations and Restrictions

There are certain limitations regarding where we can deliver vehicles.

7.1. Delivery Areas
  • Karlo Deal primarily operates in Delhi and surrounding regions. Buyers are expected to pick up their vehicles at the designated location unless an agreement for special delivery is reached.

  • Remote Locations: If the vehicle’s delivery address is in a remote location or outside of our primary service area, additional charges may apply, and delivery may not be possible for all vehicles.

7.2. International Delivery

Currently, Karlo Deal does not offer international delivery. All vehicles must be collected within India, unless special arrangements are made for high-value cars being purchased by international buyers.
